Graveyard
written by: Tim Gallagher

People long gone just names on stone
Dry brown earth and dry white bone
Here to there - year to year
Dust to dust, smile to tear

The procession has gone back
To the land of the living
Faces smiling again, alive
Privately small thought given

The people come back to look
From time to time
What do they hope
This time to find

This river so strong
Never releasing it's prey
And off in our own futures
We each have our day
