Tunnels
written by: Tim Gallagher
02-09-2001

in each life...
tunnels
and at the end of mine
not too long ago
a void, a nothing, no go
but now i have you
in my arms right here
in my head
in my heart
and my tunnel is
no longer dark
there's a light
not at the end
but here, with me now
along the way
a light so bright
it's as if night is day
my tunnel....
so bright
the walls disappear
taking along with them
my lonely fear

I love it; you're a great poet (not to mention just plain great)!
