A mer i ca
I used to love ya
Now I just sit here thinkin'
I too depressed
I'm a mess
Yeah I know
A button press
between here and blow
All the love's in the chorus
Between all the sports
All those government forts
And all those bombs
All our supposed freedom
Just arteries a bleedin'
Sin is killen us
And we don't even fuss
Just a little cuss
A little hate
A little love just in case
But it's much too
much too late
The color's leaving
Whole world's bleeding
Wobble world, wobble
Our sickness clings
(One last fling?)
The whole world is shambles
We're stuck in sinful brambles
Mumbles, grumbles, and tumbles
Nobody will point the finger
But still our problems linger
Turn the volume up
'Till the distortion factor kicks in
Sing my song so I don't have to think
Wrong is wrong
Hate is kill
War is war
I've had my fill
God's still alive
And so am I
I'm just gonna turn the TV on....
