earthquache (earthquake)
written by: Tim Gallagher

These eyes will never dry
Until that day when I
Run my boat aground
On heaven's shore
And I run around
All around with you
Little boy of mine
My heart breaks every time
I think about all
I have and will miss

And deep runs the ache
That makes my earth quake
Tears speak my heart break
So I will paddle harder
And await with joy that day
When at last we can say
"Boy" ("Dad") I love you
"Why was I ever blue?"
The plan so perfect, so true
Even though I have no you
